A turn of the century railroad station that has been tastefully renovated by it's owners, Alan and Hilary Smith. After years of pampering guests on luxury yachts, they now do the same for their guests at "La Gare".
La Gare is nestled on the edge of the charming, peaceful, village of St. Aulaye and is located on the River Dronne, "one of the finest rivers in France". This ideal, central location offers the wine region of Bordeaux to the west and to the east, the beauty of Sarlat with it's chateaux, abbeys and the caves of Lascaux.

You have a choice from three elegant guest rooms that have been individually decorated with panache and personality. All have modern, private bathrooms, two with spacious dressing rooms and large French windows and the third with Jacuzzi type shower.
